Today (28 February 2025), Mr. Kanwee Sipsang, MP of the Justice Party, spoke about a letter that 48 Uighurs gathered together and wrote to send to the UNHCR, asking for international protection or consideration of refugee status, and clearly stating that they wanted to return to China because if they did, they would be executed, detained, tortured, putting their lives in danger and even killed.
